| For more information on hypertext: University of Colorado School of Educaiton Page (trust me, it's cooler than it sounds, a really great page WITH a glossary) Lexia to Perplexia (This is one of the most (in)famous hypertexts out there and requires a computer capable of handling it. However, it is well worth the time to get familar with. Even a brief jaunt through it will reveal the sheer mass of information that hypertext (or more specifically, hypermedia) is capable of producing. Well worth the trip.) |

| A Note on Authorship and Contribution: So say you’ve written a paper that you think would fit in well with the topic, like, oh… a paper for a transgender theory course offered through the MIT consortium… and you think that this paper would address one of the issues that I would like to expand on... Please, feel free to e-mail me your paper and I would be more than happy to post it here, give you full credit and see it added into the hypertextual transgender collage that is this website. Also, if one of the topics below strikes your fancy and you want to add your own two-cents to the narrative, please e-mail me… Or say, you know a great essay that I’m missing, have a poem/story/narrative whatnot that you think might make a great addition, let me know! One of the things that I am hoping to address at some point in the near future is that a hypertextual bodies only exist in so much as they are read by other people, and that means that there are a lot of voices that go into gendering (or un-gendering) any textual or real body. In the spirit of this, I want to add in more voices to the mix, and would encourage other people to contribute to the cause. Besides, I know that there are some great essays floating around out there and this a great place to get them out there (so to speak). So please, let me know what you think, or better yet, give me your voice so I can get it out there to speak for itself. Thanks, Erin E. |
